Oorelope LG Chairman tasks muslims to observe COVID 19 rules during Ramadan fasting.



Hon Adesola Yaqub Tasoolo Caretaker Chairman of Orelope Local Government. Igboho. Oyo State. Nigeria. has implored the muslim indigenes to give COVID 19 compliant guidelines the necessary priority attention at this unique period of Ramadan.                                    
In a statement by the Information Officer of Oorelope Local Government. George Oyewole Ojo. Hon. Adesola Yaqub Tasoolo admonished the muslims to be very obedient to all the rules issued by His Excellency. The Executive Governor of Oyo State. Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde. head of COVID 19 Task Force.                                        
Hon Adesola Yaqub Tasoolo hinted that the indigenes in all the communities should make adequate provision for  masks. running water. sanitisers in the open market stalls. shops. farms. homes. private and public offices  in accordance to the directive of the COVD 19 Task Force.                                 
While felicitating with all the muslim indigenes in Oorelope Local Government over year 2020  Ramadan fasting. Hon Adesola Yaqub Tasoolo advised against touching nosrils. eyes. shaking hands. hugging and assemby of large number of people in compliance with directive of Nigeria Centre for Disease  Control to fight against the infection and transmission of dreaded corona virus.                            
Hon Adesola Yaqub Tasoolo counselled that muslim indigenes should  assist in spreading  COVID 19 precautionary  measures to family circles. villages. communities within Oorelope Local Government                                     
Hon  Adesola Yaqub Tasoolo prayed that Allah in His infinite mercy  would accept all saints prayers at this holy period of Ramadan to ward off corona virus  completely from shores of Nigeria-

Makinde To Re award Moniya Iseyin Road

Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has announced the revocation of the Moniya-Iseyin road contract awarded during the administration of the immediate past government for the sum of N7 billion. Makinde, who made the disclosure while speaking at the launch of a $5 million Agribusiness Project initiative by Farmcrowdy, said that the road was central to the government’s resolve to promote agribusiness. According to him, the previous government awarded the contract to an engineering firm that did not have capacity to handle the project, adding that even though the owner of the firm was known to him, he could not mix friendship with the business of governance. A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, quoted the Governor as saying that the contract was revoked to enable him address the challenges of moving farm produce around the state.
