The popular Moniya-Iseyin road would soon receive palliative works from Oyo State Government to ease the difficulties experienced by motorists along the road which has become increasingly impassable by the day due to its near collapse. The Government has appealed to motorists plying the road to show some understanding as it was aware of the difficulties they faced daily and assured of its commitment to fix the road in no distant time. The official website for 2019 World Twins Festival is now open for free registration for twins and non twin (tourist). A lawyer and  concern citizen of OkeOgun Area of Oyo state has called on the authority to rehabilitate major roads in OkeOgun which according to him are in deplorable condition. Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, has lamented the deplorable condition of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, and vowed to ensure that the challenges are tackled.The institution, jointly owned by Oyo and Osun States has been enmeshed in crisis over inadequate funding.But Makinde who promised to restore the institution’s lost glory said something has to be done to a marriage that is not working.Receiving members of the institution’s governing council led by its chairman and Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Oladipo Afolabi in his office, Makinde said in resolving the protracted crisis in the school, he would not mind a divorce with Osun State. “LAUTECH to Oyo and Ogbomoso land is an industry and institution we can’t toil with it.
