Asian Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry gets New President in Nigeria.




The Asia Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nigeria has induct it's new president, Mr Arinle Ahmed Adekunle at an event hosted by the global founder of the chamber Dr GD Singh and Vice President of the Chamber High Prince Dr Leye Babalola in Lagos .




The event which was held at the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja Lagos have in attendance Mr. Ope George, the representative of Mr Babajide SanwoOlu, the Governor of Lagos state. The Ooni of who is also the patron of the chamber was also represented at the event.

In his keynote address, Dr.GD Singh said that the AACCI is created to brigde the business gap between Africa and Asia and to create transnational corporations, which have presence in all associated member countries and whose capital would be built by nationals of all 102 prospective member countries. " AACCI is now developed as a transnational chamber working in conjunction and affiliation with other National & Regional Chamber partners dedicated to spreading the support for trade, business & investment." He said .
In his address High Prince Leye Babalola highlited the importance of SMEs to the growth of any nations economy and call on African leaders to embrace SMEs.



Dr Babalola who is also the Vice President of University of Entrepreneurship and Technology Africa said that the University will be awarding the president of Republic of Gambia, His Excellency Adama Barrow and his Sierra Leone counterpart, His Excellency Julius Mada Bio with honorary doctorate award in corporate governance.
According to him UET which has it Nigeria campus at Okeho in Oyo State is not a conventional university as its program is 40% theory and 60% practical.
The event also witness the presentation of different awards and decree to many personalities including Mr Michel Deelen, Consul- General, The kingdom of Netherlands; Mr Gboyega Isiaka, APC House of Representatives member, Imeko Afon Federal Constituency and Ms Oluwabunmi Amao, Director-General, Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilisation (CBAAC), among others.
