Ogo Oluwa Local government Youth passes vote of confidence on John Mayowa . Says Elder Mathew and Seun Ojo want to reap where they did not sow”

Youths in Ogo Oluwa Local government area of Oyo State have passed a vote of confidence on Hon. John Mayowa as the leader they can trust . The youths in a statement made available to Oyo Herald stated that John Mayor as being popularly call is a politician with the love and interest of the youths at heart .
“ we have known John Mayowa to be a loyal promoter of Omo Titun in Ogo Oluwa Local government since the days of SDP, He spent his money on many empowerment programs for our youths and always donating generously to the party.”
In 2015 offer scholarships to many indigent students in Ogo Oluwa and Surulere local government and he equally takes care of party leaders . The statement reads.
The  statement also stated that Elder Matthew and  Mr Seun Ojo want  to reap in Ogo Oluwa Local government where they contributed little or nothing to the success of Engr. Seyi Makinde and the PDP in the last General elections.
The Youths who made their displeasures known in the statement saidb that they are worried about the mentioning of the duo of Elder Matthew and Seun Ojo now that the sharing of position has come.
The youths noted that elder Matthew and Seun Ojo contributed insignificantly to the success of the party in the local government and therefore not worthy of any political appointments.
They claimed that during elder  Mathew's two  terms as the member of the Oyo State House of Assembly the youth hardly benefited anything as dividends of democracy.
They now caution the Governor of giving him any political office in the local government as he and Seun Ojo always causing disunity in the party.
Speaking with our correspondent in a telephone interview , John Mayowa says that he was humbled by the vote of confidence passed on him by the youths and promise not to let them down now and in the future.
Asking him whether he is jostling for any position at the Local government level , Hon John Mayowa said that as a politician he will always make himself available for service anytime his people calls, but he is not doing it on a do or die basis.
“ I have my profession and I  thank God for that. I am in politics to contribute my quota to the development of my local government. That has always be my passion and I believe with government machinery I can do it  better.”
I have no issue with Elder Matthew and Seun Ojo , we are members of the same party and I believe we are all working towards the development of the local government. I don’t know what motivated the youths to issue such statement about them and I think they are in the best position to explain.
